Notes

'Fur Elise' tulip (Tulipa 'Fur Elise') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. It blooms in early to late spring and stands about 12 inches tall. The flowers make a nice show in a vase, and the short stems also suit pots.

Pairs well with City of Haarlem common hyacinth, Thalia daffodil, Grape hyacinth, and Cat's Pajamas nepeta.
