Notes

'Fusilier' rose (Rosa 'Fusilier') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. The compact, upright bush has glossy, dark green leaves and fragrant orange-scarlet blooms. Flowers open in late spring, again in summer, and once more in early autumn. Dr. Dennison H. Morey bred it in 1957, and bees visit the flowers.

Pairs well with Perennial candytuft, Ox-eye daisy, and Red spider lily.
