Notes

'Midnight Star' lily-of-the-nile (Agapanthus 'Midnight Star') is a perennial for borders, containers, cut flower arrangements, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. It blooms from early to late summer and draws butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. It also tolerates salt.

Pairs well with Balloon flower, Mondo grass, and Bigleaf hydrangea.
