Notes

'Garden Gem' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Garden Gem') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The white flowers open in late spring and have light yellow centers. Strong stems hold the blooms upright, and the leaves stay green and healthy into late summer. Don Hollingsworth bred it.

Pairs well with Columbine, Sedge, and Grape hyacinth.
