Notes

'Garden Lace' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Garden Lace') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant, light pink blooms have lacy yellow centers and open from mid to late spring into early summer. Stems are strong, and the foliage forms a broad bush about 30 inches tall. Don Hollingsworth bred it in 1992.

Pairs well with Incrediball hydrangea, Picture tulip, and Kentucky bluegrass.
