Notes

'Garden Sunshine' peony (Paeonia 'Garden Sunshine') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, specimen planting, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. Single soft yellow flowers often show light pink flares in the center and open in early to late spring. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Butterflies visit the blooms, and the upright stems display them well.

Pairs well with Obsidian coral bells, Lily, Bottlebrush buckeye, and Greig's tulip.
