Notes

'George Yorke' peony (Paeonia 'George Yorke') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its sturdy upright stems reach 49 inches and need no support. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Harald Fawkner bred it, and the white single blooms open early in the season.

Pairs well with Blue Angel hosta, Maiden pink, and Standing Ovation little bluestem.
