Notes

'German White' garlic (Allium sativum 'German White') is a bulb grown for roasting, cooking, and long storage. It is hardy to USDA zone 2, or down to -50°F (-46°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Each bulb holds 4 to 6 cloves that peel easily and have a strong, balanced garlic flavor. Plant it in fall and harvest in mid to late summer.

Pairs well with Chinese mustard, Zucchini, and Double Zahara Fire zinnia.
