Notes

'Ghost' spotted dead nettle (Lamium maculatum 'Ghost') is a perennial for ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 2, or down to -50°F (-46°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and dry soil. It forms patches of small, silver leaves with dark green edges, and deep pink flowers appear from early to late spring. Rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Plant it along pathways or under larger shade perennials, trees, and shrubs.

Pairs well with Flore Pleno lily of the valley, Trailing arbutus, and Red spruce.
