Notes
'Giant' sweet cherry (Prunus avium 'Giant') is a tree for pollinator gardens and food gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun. The columnar shape fits small spaces. Bees and butterflies visit the flowers from early to late spring. The fruit is grown for eating fresh, and you need a second cherry tree nearby for pollination because it is not self-fertile.
Pairs well with Thalia daffodil, Incrediball Blush smooth hydrangea, and Blonde Ambition blue grama.
