Notes

'Ginger Wine' Atlantic nine-bark (Physocarpus opulifolius 'Ginger Wine') is a shrub for borders, hedges, privacy screens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Its arching stems carry orange to burgundy leaves. White to pink flowers open in spring and again in summer, and they draw butterflies, bees, and birds. It grows fast and tolerates drought.

Pairs well with Incrediball Storm Proof smooth hydrangea, Brown-eyed Susan, and Sensitive fern.
