Notes

'Ginko-nishiki' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Ginko-nishiki') is a perennial for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The single flowers are small and white with red streaks. They open in mid to late spring. The red-tipped carpels and a conspicuous red disk add contrast at the center of each bloom.

Pairs well with Goldsturm black-eyed Susan, Stargazer lily, Blue sage, and Garlic chives.
