Notes

'Globosa' Japanese red pine (Pinus densiflora 'Globosa') is a tree for specimen, accent, and foundation plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. It grows slowly into a multi-trunked, evergreen tree that reaches 10 to 15 feet tall and wide. Once settled in, it is drought tolerant. Deer tend to browse other plants first.

Pairs well with Gladiator ornamental onion, Pincushion flower, and Angel Cheeks peony.
