Notes

'Low Glow' Japanese red pine (Pinus densiflora 'Low Glow') is a tree for borders, specimens, accents, and foundation plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun, average moisture, and most soil types. Deer tend to browse other plants first. It is a slow-growing, multi-trunked evergreen that stays about 36 to 48 inches tall and wide. It also tolerates drought and salt.

Pairs well with Limeglow creeping juniper, Hansa rose, and Pincushion flower.
