Notes
'Globosa' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Globosa') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The flowers are white with violet flares, so they stand out in a mixed border. You can cut the blooms and bring them indoors for arrangements. Modeste Guérin introduced it in 1851.
Pairs well with Hardy geranium, Mock orange, Cinnamon fern, and Carnaval De Nice tulip.
