Notes

'Gloria Jean' peony (Paeonia 'Gloria Jean') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Chris Laning bred it, and its large, single, fragrant flowers mix dark pink and yellow. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. Bees and butterflies visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Patriot hosta, Annabelle hydrangea, Sedge, and Little Beauty tulip.
