Notes

'Glory Hallelujah' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Glory Hallelujah') is a perennial for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant double flowers are cherry-red with rose-red undertones. Each strong stem carries one main bud and several side buds. Carl G. Klehm bred it in 1970.

Pairs well with Goldsturm black-eyed Susan, Incrediball hydrangea, Black Parrot tulip, and Foxtail barley.
