Notes

'Glory of Rome' peony (Paeonia 'Glory of Rome') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant double flowers open dark pink and fade to lighter pink on upright stems that need no support. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. Joshua Scholten bred it.

Pairs well with Guacamole hosta, Nodding onion, and Western sword fern.
