Notes
'Glow Worm' peony (Paeonia 'Glow Worm') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. Golden-yellow blooms with red flares open from early to late spring and attract butterflies. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Derek Irvine bred it.
Pairs well with Garden phlox, Jacob’s ladder, Lily, and Greig's tulip.
