Notes

'Glowing Flash' peony (Paeonia 'Glowing Flash') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant, single, light yellow flowers have coral-red flares and attract butterflies and bees. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Roger F. Anderson bred this upright peony, which grows 36 to 38 inches tall.

Pairs well with Guacamole hosta, Perennial candytuft, Nodding onion, and Sweet pepperbush.
