Notes

'Goblin' blanket flower (Gaillardia grandiflora 'Goblin') is a perennial for borders, containers, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to average, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. It blooms from early to late summer and again in early to late autumn, and butterflies and bees visit the flowers. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. It also handles drought and salt.

Pairs well with Stella de Oro daylily, Sapphire alpine oatgrass, Dense blazing star, and Hidcote lavender.
