Notes

'God Slayer' peony (Paeonia 'God Slayer') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Fragrant, semi-double pink blooms have frilled guard petals and cream undertones, and the upright stems stand without support. Joshua Scholten bred it. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal.

Pairs well with Liberty hosta, Perennial candytuft, Black Parrot tulip, and Sweet pepperbush.
