Notes

'Going Bianlian' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Going Bianlian') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The double flowers open white with a greenish hue and smell sweet. They bloom in mid to late spring, and each stem carries two to three blooms. The upright plants reach about 46 inches and do not need support.

Pairs well with Spanish bluebell, Sedge, and Sensitive fern.
