Notes
'Gold Drop' hosta (Hosta 'Gold Drop') is a perennial for shade gardens, borders, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average moisture. Fragrant lilac flowers open in early to late summer and draw bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. It grows 6 to 18 inches tall and spreads 12 to 18 inches.
Pairs well with White phlox, Fernleaf peony, and Autumn crocus.
