Notes

'Gold Mine' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Gold Mine') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its dark rose-pink flowers have a cupped, irregular form and a center of narrow whitish petaloids tipped with yellow. Stiff stems hold the blooms up, and it flowers freely in mid season.

Pairs well with Purrsian Blue nepeta, White Feather hosta, and Pink Impression tulip.
