Notes
'Gold Sun' zinnia (Zinnia elegans 'Gold Sun') is an annual for borders, cut flower gardens, and pollinator gardens. It is tender to cold, and the first hard frost will kill it. This plant likes full sun and dry to average, loamy soil. It grows fast, stands upright, and tolerates drought. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the blooms. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything.
Pairs well with Sulfur cosmos, Hollyhock, and Red fescue.
