Notes

'Golden Bowl' peony (Paeonia 'Golden Bowl') is a shrub for borders, specimen planting, cottage gardens, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. Yellow blooms with scarlet flares open from spring into early summer and attract butterflies. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Prof. Arthur Percy Saunders bred it.

Pairs well with Blue star, Mock orange, Balloon flower, and Jackmanii clematis.
