Notes

'Golden Dawn' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Golden Dawn') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant, anemone type blooms open in mid to late spring and early summer. Each flower has a high yellowish center and broad, round, ivory-white outer petals. Walter L. Gumm bred it.

Pairs well with Dutchman's breeches, Japanese spirea, Carlton daffodil, and Sensitive fern.
