Notes

'Golden Glory' crabapple (Malus yunnanensis 'Golden Glory') is a tree for specimen use. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Large white flowers open late in the crab apple season and smell sweet. Golden brown fruitlets hang on the tree well into autumn, when the leaves turn orange and red. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal.

Pairs well with Miss Kim lilac, Carlton daffodil, Shrub rose, and Foxtail barley.
