Notes

'Golden Hind' peony (Paeonia 'Golden Hind') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. Large, fluffy, cream yellow blooms with dark red flares open in early to late spring on heavy stems. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. A.P. Saunders introduced it in 1948.

Pairs well with Sweet William, Weigela, and Lily.
