Notes

'Golden Ness' golden willow (Salix alba 'Golden Ness') is a tree for specimen planting, borders, and rain gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It grows fast and stands erect, so give it room. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. Birds also visit this willow.

Pairs well with Cardinal red twig dogwood, River birch, and Winter creeper.
