Notes

'Golden Pleasure' peony (Paeonia 'Golden Pleasure') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. The mid yellow blooms have small red flares and open in early to late spring. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Butterflies visit the flowers, and Derek Irvine bred it.

Pairs well with Sweet woodruff, Toad lily, and Grape hyacinth.
