Notes

'Golden Torch' foxtail lily (Eremurus 'Golden Torch') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. It sends up massive spikes of rich, glowing golden yellow flowers in early to late summer, and bees, butterflies, hummingbirds, and birds visit the blooms. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits.

Pairs well with Feather reed grass, Casa Blanca lily, and Little bluestem.
