Notes

'Samba' foxtail lily (Eremurus 'Samba') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. Tall spikes of orange-pink flowers open from early to late summer and draw butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Twaalfhoven bred it.

Pairs well with Gaura, Feather reed grass, Little bluestem, and Casa Blanca lily.
