Notes

'Flair' foxtail lily (Eremurus 'Flair') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and meadows. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. The large flowers are golden yellow shaded with pink, and they open from early to late summer. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Feather reed grass, Little bluestem, Casa Blanca lily, and Ox-eye daisy.
