Notes

'Goldfinch' peony (Paeonia 'Goldfinch') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen use. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. It grows 36 to 48 inches tall and wide. The fragrant yellow flowers attract butterflies and bees, and Ernest Flint Kelsey bred it.

Pairs well with Blue fescue, Stargazer lily, Golden Tiara hosta, and The President clematis.
