Notes

'Goldfish Sheen' peony (Paeonia 'Goldfish Sheen') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. The flowers show rose edging over golden yellow in early to late spring. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Butterflies visit the blooms, and Derek Irvine bred it.

Pairs well with False indigo, Maltese cross, Stargazer lily, and Clematis.
