Notes
'Goodman Gold' sweet cherry (Prunus avium 'Goodman Gold') is a columnar tree for food gardens and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun. Bees and butterflies visit the flowers from early to late spring. You can pick the fruit late in the season and grow it for fresh eating. It is not self-fertile, so plant a second cherry nearby for fruit.
Pairs well with Hansa rose, Blonde Ambition blue grama, and China Town tulip.
