Notes

'Graduation' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Graduation') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The large, full double flowers are pure white with a hint of ivory at the base. They open in late spring on strong, stiff stems of medium height. A few petals may show a thin red line on the edge.

Pairs well with Spotted dead nettle, Black Hero tulip, and Blue grama.
