Notes
'Grandiflora' panicle hydrangea (Hydrangea paniculata 'Grandiflora') is a shrub for borders, hedges, privacy screens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Deer tend to browse other plants first. Its white blooms age to pink and attract butterflies and bees. It grows fast, so give it room to arch.
Pairs well with American cranberrybush, Cinnamon fern, Solomon's seal, and Northern red oak.
