Notes

'Grape Ice' grape hyacinth (Muscari latifolium 'Grape Ice') is a bulb for borders, rock gardens, and naturalizing. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun. Its purple flowers fade from grape purple through pale lilac to bright white. They are fragrant and appear in early to late spring. The bulbs naturalize readily, so you can let them form drifts.

Pairs well with Snowdrop, Spanish bluebell, Alexander Fleming peony, and American Gold Rush black-eyed Susan.
