Notes

'Grape Lollipop' garden phlox (Phlox paniculata 'Grape Lollipop') is a perennial for borders, pollinator gardens, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. It blooms from early to late summer and again in autumn, and the fragrant flowers draw butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. Deer tend to browse other plants first. Give it room, since it forms a clump up to 24 inches wide.

Pairs well with Coneflower, Black-eyed Susan, Bee balm, and Standing Ovation little bluestem.
