Notes

'Great Dream' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Great Dream') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The double flowers have light rose pink outer petals that look almost white. The center holds bright yellow petals with some pink mixed in. Dr. John H. Neeley bred it.

Pairs well with Prairie dropseed, Dalmatian bellflower, Nodding onion, and Christmas fern.
