Notes

'Greta May' peony (Paeonia 'Greta May') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant flowers are flat, 4 to 6 inches wide, and range from fuchsia to lavender. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Strong stems hold three blooms each, and the dark green foliage lasts until late fall.

Pairs well with Abiqua Drinking Gourd hosta, Switchgrass, and Black Hero tulip.
