Notes

'Ground Sulphur' hosta (Hosta 'Ground Sulphur') is a perennial for borders, rock gardens, and shade gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average moisture. It stays small, at 6 to 9 inches tall and 9 to 12 inches wide. Lavender flowers open from early to late summer and are fragrant. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Blue wood aster, Sorbet peony, and Autumn crocus.
