Notes

'Pagan Purples' delphinium (Delphinium elatum 'Pagan Purples') is a perennial for borders and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. Its erect stems rise well above the leaves and draw butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. Tall stems may need staking in windy spots.

Pairs well with Henryi clematis, Magnus coneflower, Willow bell, and Baby's breath.
