Notes

'Guest of Honour' peony (Paeonia 'Guest of Honour') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. Pink and cream blooms open from early to late spring and attract butterflies. Derek Irvine bred it in 2001. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice.

Pairs well with Mock orange, Johnny jump up, Niobe clematis, and Buffalo grass.
