Notes
'W.L. Gumm' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'W.L. Gumm') is a perennial for borders, cut flower gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The double white blooms are well built up and sit on stems of medium height. The stems make this peony a good pick for cutting.
Pairs well with African Queen lily, Dalmatian bellflower, and Prairie dropseed.
