Notes
'Ham Green Black' sweet cherry (Prunus avium 'Ham Green Black') is a columnar tree for food gardens and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun. It blooms from early to late spring, and butterflies and bees visit the flowers. The fruit ripens late and is grown for fresh eating. It is not self-fertile, so plant a second cherry nearby for pollination.
Pairs well with Ice Follies daffodil, Clustered bellflower, and Blonde Ambition blue grama.
