Notes

'Hanano-sito' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Hanano-sito') is a shrub for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. A Japanese breeder developed it. As a shrub, it keeps its woody stems from year to year.

Pairs well with Iris, Sum and Substance hosta, and Little Lime panicle hydrangea.
